Everything indicates that this time there is no rumor or chance of a quick reconciliation, like at the beginning of the month, when the two were involved in a crisis that was quickly resolved, but that did not save the relationship from the inevitable deterioration. Now it is official and there is no turning back: Jojo Todynho and Lucas Souza are no longer together. The two decided to end their nine-month marriage after a definitive conversation they had this week. The information was released by columnist Fábia Oliveira.

The trigger for the crisis, which, according to friends of the soldier, had been going on for some time, was Lucas' announcement on October 8, on social media, that he was separating from the singer. The news took Jojo herself by surprise during a trip to the mall. And from there, she also explained on her social media that the two had had a fight without major consequences on Whatsapp hours before, but that when she returned home everything would be resolved.

Some time later, Jojo herself posted a video in which she appeared with her husband denying the separation and claiming that it had all been nothing more than an impulsive reaction on his part. Days before, during an interview on a podcast, the singer had revealed that her husband did not have much experience in oral sex and that she was even “teaching” him what to do. Internet users even linked the comment to the military man’s motivation to announce the end of the relationship, due to his wife’s exposure of the couple’s intimacy.

But the explanation given by Lucas Souza for announcing the separation at the time was that he had acted without thinking, in a moment of anger. In an Instagram Story, he apologized and said that everything was fine between the two. He even apologized to the internet users and the singer for the situation. “I'm here to say that everything is fine, everything is fine between Jojo and I too, we've already talked, everything is fine. I would like to apologize to her publicly for the immediate and thoughtless attitude I had yesterday. I'm going to take a break here for a while, try to stay mentally well,” he declared.

The military man also denied speculation that it was a marketing ploy. “Guys, I’m just saying that it wasn’t marketing, it was just a thoughtless attitude. I apologize to everyone, but it really has nothing to do with that, it was just a thoughtless attitude resulting from a situation, but that’s it, I ask everyone to expose this here publicly and that’s it,” he said.

However, sources close to the singer revealed that she was hurt by the fact that her husband had exposed everything on the internet to the point of taking her by surprise. According to friends, Jojo felt invaded, insecure and, even after the resumption announced by both, the relationship suffered serious wear and tear, which is why she decided to end the story with Lucas.  

The columnist's sources claim that Jojo has already instructed her lawyer to take the necessary steps to formalize the divorce. Despite everything, the breakup was reportedly amicable and the singer is fine. However, Jojo stated that she would not comment on the matter.
