Eldina wants to be accepted as she really is, with all the hair on her body. Hair is a natural part of our body, but the way we choose to maintain it has long been a source of division of opinion.

Especially in women, it is common for hair, especially the most visible hair, such as eyebrows, upper lip and armpits, to be trimmed, because, for many of them, hair removal is something natural, which is good, as it brings more freedom and even a better sense of hygiene.

However, for another group of women, removing or shaping their hair is not something they enjoy, but they do it only because of societal pressure, as they feel good about keeping it in its natural form.

Accept yourself with all your hair

Eldina Jaganjac, a 31-year-old Danish woman, is one of those women. Some time ago, she decided not to remove her hair anymore and since then, she has maintained a very natural look, which she likes.

In an interview with Unilad, she said that she was feeling frustrated with the differences in hair removal between men and women, and that she refuses to wax her upper lip or eyebrows, which works for her as a way of “eliminating” bad dates, meeting only men who accept her as she really is.

Since March 2020, she has maintained this new appearance, as she realized that the size of her hair does not influence her femininity.

Eldina explained that before growing out her eyebrows, she felt that women had very limited options when it came to appearance, and noted that when men don't shave or pluck their eyebrows, no one comments because it's not seen as something "out of the ordinary."

She also said that she has stopped going out because her eyebrows or legs weren't "right", but that now she has learned to control herself and is focusing on her goals, without caring whether people like her or not, because they probably won't see them again.

Of course, she faced challenges in the beginning, with many men telling her to shave or even staring at her eyebrows as if she had a “third head,” but she says it only helped her ward off the people she doesn’t want to be around.
