After Jojo Todynho said that the her marriage with Lucas Souza is not over, the Army soldier spoke out in the stories. He publicly apologized to Jojo and said that he committed acts without thinking last Saturday (8).

He commented that he and Jojo have already made amends and that it was all just a “spur-of-the-moment attitude”: “I’m here to tell you that everything is fine. Everything is fine between Jojo and I too, we’ve talked, everything is fine. I would like to publicly apologize to her, publicly apologize for the thoughtless attitude I had yesterday, okay? I’m going to take a break here for a bit, I’m going to try to stay mentally well.”

Lucas also clarified that what happened was not a marketing ploy: “It was just a thoughtless act. I apologize to everyone, but it really has nothing to do with that, it was just a thoughtless act, resulting from a situation. But, that's it, I apologize to everyone and for exposing this here publicly,” he continued.

He said he made a mistake and shouldn't have posted anything on the Internet: “I ask for respect from everyone. You know that thing, when you get angry? Do you have an angry attitude? I'm a person like that, apparently calm, but not really. I apologize especially to Jô who was the most affected.”

Furthermore, Lucas took the opportunity to deny rumors that a friend of his gave an interview saying that the soldier felt like he was in “private prison” in his marriage to Jojo: “No friend of mine would say that. That’s a lie, okay?”

Souza announced the end of the marriage with a post on Instagram last Saturday (8). “A relationship is not built on love alone, respect, loyalty and gratitude are essential. Out of respect for the people who care about the couple and with great pain in my heart, going through the most difficult phase of my life where I am in a place where I have no one, I announce that Jordana and I are no longer married”, he declared.

Then, Jojo Todynho said that she was at the mall with her goddaughter and did not know about the separation. This Sunday (9) she appeared in the stories and revealed that the marriage is not over: “My husband is not leaving, no. My marriage is not over, because it was God who gave it to me. I have already said that I will not separate, I will become a widow. Either he dies, or I die, or we both die. I did not get married to separate.”
